Christian Kemos is a partner in The Freitas Law Firm. He has extensive experience in representing trustees and beneficiaries in will and trust contests in probate court and is an experienced litigation counselor in disputes involving land and property ownership /partition actions, business litigation, and commercial and residential lease issues. Since 2005, Mr. Kemos has litigated in numerous civil, probate, and appellate courts in California in both State and Federal jurisdictions.
Mr. Kemos has extensive litigation and motion experience, having trained court externs and research attorneys in pretrial civil procedure and motion evaluation, and has presented for the San Francisco Legal Professionals Association on Law and Motion practice.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from U.C. Davis in 1994, and a Master’s Degree from Yale University in 2000. After receiving his law degree at University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Mr. Kemos served as a judicial extern and research attorney for the San Francisco Superior Court from 2004 until 2007. Mr. Kemos then joined Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold as an associate where he practiced civil litigation. Before his legal career, Mr. Kemos was an environmental and human health risk assessor on projects throughout California.
