Auto vs. Hit-and-Run Van Collision - Settlement in Excess of $1,000,000
Our automobile accident attorneys obtained a settlement in excess of $1,000,000 on behalf of our clients, a mother and child, when their car was struck by defendant’s van in a hit-and-run collision at a San Rafael intersection.
Defendant’s delivery van driver was speeding, ran a red light, and fled the scene. He was later apprehended in the city of Corte Madera by police. Both mother and child were severely injured in the broadside collision, with the mother suffering facial lacerations and traumatic brain injury due to the impact of the collision. Her daughter suffered physical injuries as well as was scarred by witnessing the collision and injuries sustained by her mother.
